GRAVITY IS THE BIGGEST ENEMY TO CEREBRAL PALSY CHILD AS HE DOESN'T HAVE ENOUGH MUSCLE TO FIGHT IT. BIKING IS MOVEMENT WITH GRAVITY ELIMINATED SO THE CHILD MOVE WITHOUT GRAVITY.

Dr Sallam develops three types of bikes :-
1- Back Push.
2-Front Push.
3- 4X4 Push.

 

Biking is an excellent method to:-
1- Stimulate reciprocal movement.
2- Strength the Lower Limb Muscles with gravity eliminated.
3- Enhance whole body control that mature the abnormal
     reactions and abnormal reflexes.
4- Stimulate sitting with highest equilibrium reactions.

5- Stimulate Lower Limb body shifting.
6- Stimulate Upper Limb body shifting.
7- Stimulate Upper limb control.
8- Stimulate visual skills.
9- Stimulate the self-stem.
10- It is the best physical activity beside swimming for cerebral
      palsy even biking is cheap and available.
